Gene Stafford Voice Over

Male Voice Over Talent/
Narrator Talent

Gene started his broadcasting career in his home town of Needles California

Gene started his broadcasting career back in 1972 in his home town of Needles California

On a small AM Station KSFE owned by James and Fran Parr.

Most of his duties were board operator for Angel Base Ball games after school

and grew into a full time career.  His love of electronics and radio he rose

thru the ranks as one of the southwest’s top Radio Engineers.  But his love

For Voice Over work never faded.

Gene loved to do copy writing and letting his creativity work for their radio market clients.  Since he was involved with many broadcast companies at once,  He had the

unique opportunity to do Voice Over Work all across the music formats.

Occasionally Gene would have the opportunity to work “ON AIR”.

His engineering background always seemed to get his foot into doors normally closed to up and coming voice talents.  Thru college he worked on air at a few Southern California Stations.

Gene had the opportunity providing voice talent for;

Goodyear

Macys

JC Pennys

Sears

Discount Tires

Us Festival

Harrah’s Resorts

Mirage Resorts

With all his talent and background in Radio, Gene really wanted to be a Firefighter.

Yes a fireman.  He worked part time and finally hired full time to California Division of Forestry and continued to work in radio engineering in the off seasons.

His dream came true in 1980 when he was hired full time at the Bullhead City Fire Department.  Even full time gave Gene the extra days to fulfill his other love for Radio.

He did the engineering work for all the local stations including projects through out the southwest.  Always able to fine tune his craft with Voice Over work for all the stations that he serviced.

In 1992 Gene had to retire from Bullhead City Fire department due to a serious accident.

After recovering he found he was not able to keep up his duties with radio engineering, and persued a career in Live Audio.

1n 1993 Gene went to work for Mirage Resort taking care of their local show rooms,

Live audio events, artist management and audio visual tasks.

1n 1995 Gene fell into a company as a live engineer at Enterprise Live based in Burbank California as the Chief Engineer in Las Vegas.  Duties included: systems for touring artists and live mixing for main stream artists including:
